Church Settings

Configure your church's profile, branding, and platform settings from the Configuration section.

Church Profile

Manage your church's basic information at Configuration > Church Profile.

Timezone

Select your church's timezone from the dropdown in Church Profile. This ensures:

  • Event times display correctly for your location
  • All dates and times in the admin console use your selected timezone
  • Members see accurate event times relative to your church

Branding

Church Logo

Upload your church logo in Church Profile for recognition across the platform.

Requirements:

  • Square format (1:1 aspect ratio)
  • Minimum: 200 x 200 pixels
  • Maximum: 1024 x 1024 pixels
  • Formats: PNG, JPG, JPEG

Where it appears:

  • App header
  • Login screen
  • Email communications
  • Admin console

Tips:

  • Use a simple, recognizable logo
  • Ensure it looks good at small sizes
  • Use transparent PNG for best results

Splash Screen

The splash screen appears when members open the app.

Requirements:

  • Portrait orientation
  • Minimum: 1284 x 2778 pixels
  • Maximum: 2000 x 4000 pixels
  • Formats: PNG, JPG, JPEG

Design Tips:

  • Include your church name/logo
  • Use your brand colors
  • Keep important elements centered
  • Test on different screen sizes

Configuration Pages

Donation Configuration

Configure online giving at Configuration > Donation Configuration.

See the Donations Guide for detailed setup instructions.

Event Reminder Configuration

Set default reminder intervals at Configuration > Event Reminder Configuration.

  • Add default reminder times (e.g., "1 day before", "1 hour before")
  • These apply to all new events automatically
  • Events can override these defaults

Languages

Configure multi-language support at Configuration > Languages.

  • Add languages your church uses
  • Prayer content can be created in multiple languages
  • Members can filter content by their preferred language
  • Right-to-left (RTL) languages like Arabic and Hebrew are fully supported

Push Notifications

Configure push notification settings at Configuration > Push Notifications.

When enabled:

  • Members receive notifications for new announcements
  • Event reminders are sent
  • New video alerts are delivered
  • Chat message notifications

When disabled:

  • No push notifications are sent
  • Members can still use the app normally

Customize your church's About page at Pages > About Us.

  • Church description and history
  • Mission statement

  • Service times
  • Custom content with rich text editor

Configure contact options at Pages > Contact Us.

Data & Privacy

Data Isolation

Your church's data is completely separate from other churches:

  • Members only see your church's content
  • Admins only access your church's data
  • No cross-church visibility

Data Export

Export your church data from various admin pages:

Contact support for full data exports.

Account Deletion

To delete your church account:

  1. Contact help@faith-sync.com
  2. Confirm your identity
  3. Request deletion
  4. Data is permanently removed after 30 days

Troubleshooting

Logo not displaying

  1. Verify file meets size requirements in Church Profile
  2. Check file format is supported (PNG, JPG, JPEG)
  3. Try uploading again
  4. Clear browser cache

Features not available

  1. Check your subscription plan
  2. Verify the feature is enabled in Configuration
  3. Contact support for upgrades

Settings not saving

  1. Check all required fields are filled
  2. Verify no validation errors appear
  3. Try refreshing the page
  4. Contact support if issue persists
